Happy Friday! Unbelievable how fast time has gone and now we are at the end of our week.
Wednesday night, we held our annual Fanari Games. Staying true to tradition every camper and staffer brought the holy spirit with them. Our Delphian’s ended up victorious winning the prized trophy.
Yesterday we started our day with our counselors leading campers in morning prayers to show that you can pray anywhere. We then moved into sessions of team bonding. Inside our main lodge campers participated in a game called “Tap Someone” and then outside, cabins competed in team building games. During the outside sessions our girl cabins really showed off their spirt by having a chant off. After all sessions we moved into our camp-wide picnic day.
We kicked off our picnic with our clergy cooking up souvlaki for our campers and moved into free time. From bracelet making in the main lodge to playing sports in the field our campers truly had the best day ever. We finished our day with our Fanari Christmas in the Summer Dance and it is safe to say that everyone had a holly jolly time.
Today is our last full day of camp. All sessions today are focusing on our theme of “Christian Agape” and how we can carry agape with us long after camp. Tonight is Skit Night, campers and staffers are working on making the best skit ever to finish up their last best day ever here at camp.
