Friday 7/1: Skit Night

Fanari 2016 Session 2 has finally come to an end. We’ve met new friends, learned more about our faith and grown closer to Christ in our short week of camp. Our time together has been such a blessing and we’re so thankful for all the memories and experiences!

Traditionally, we end our last night of camp with “Skit Night”. All week, our campers have been working hard on their skits in Theater. Our Theater Staff, led by Andrew Poteres, did a great job coordinating the evening’s skits. What an entertaining night, watching our campers perform their hearts out!

Huge congratulations to the campers and counselors of the Olympians, the 2016 Session 2 Fanari Camp Spirit Winners!!! They were filled with the Holy Spirit all week long. Our only 11th grader, Anna Kotsogiannis, was given a candle to take home for her last year at Fanari Camp. We pray she will keep the beacon of light, the Fanari, with her always. She spoke of how Fanari truly holds a special place in her heart.

We ended our last Closing Day with a slideshow of all the great memories during the week. Deacon Chris spoke on what a beautiful week we had, growing deeper in our faith and keeping the light of Christ in us, long after we’ve left camp. Session 2 has been full of joy! Our campers! Our counselors! Our beautiful home! We are truly blessed! Thank you to everyone who has put their love and time into our week together. We’ll see you in the morning to celebrate Divine Liturgy as one family and say our final goodbyes. Goodnight and God bless, Fanari Camp.
