POW! KABOOM! KRASH! Tonight was our Super Hero themed dance and our campers came ready to represent their favorite! All the campers came dressed in super hero costumes and danced the night away! They also had the opportunity to hear stories around the camp fire with Mr. D and make delicious s’mores, while others played Octoball, bags and frisbee. It was the perfect ending to another perfect day at Fanari Camp! We are all so blessed to be here together!
Tonight during Closing Day, Fr. Panagiotis Boznos spoke about the upcoming feast day of the Nativity of St. John the Baptist and how doubt and trust deepen our faith. The Delphians and our one man Theater staff, Andrew Poteres, won the spirit sticks for the day. Congrats! We sang “Take My Hand” around the campfire, before heading back to our cabins for the night. There’s nothing that makes it feel more like Fanari, than when you hear all the campers and staff singing together. What a blessing this cherished tradition is for us all!
It’s truly been a beautiful day from start to finish. We’ve been blessed with such wonderful experiences at Fanari and look forward to so many more before our week ends. As always, the week has flown by. Goodnight, for now, Fanari Camp.
