Thursday night Hawaiian Luau Dance

It’s the end of another blessed day and the campers have all gone back to their cabins to do their devotionals and prepare for Holy Confession tomorrow.

What a gorgeous night outside under the stars for our luau dance! All the campers came dressed in their most festive Hawaiian outfits and accessories and danced the night away!  The campers also had the opportunity to hear stories around the fireplace and make delicious s’mores, while others played games inside the Main Lodge. It was the perfect ending to another perfect day at Fanari Camp! We are all so blessed to be here together!

Tonight during Closing Day, our Hellenic College/Holy Cross graduate, Nick Lanzourakis, spoke about how as we should prepare for tomorrow’s sacrament, to release the burden of our sins through Holy Confession.

The Athenians and Delphians won the spirit sticks for the day and we sang along with Leo and Marina, “Shine On”, “I am a C” and “Father, I Adore You”. There’s nothing that makes it feel more like Fanari, than when you hear all the campers and staff singing together. What a blessing this cherished tradition is for us all!

It’s truly been a beautiful day from start to finish. We’ve been blessed with such wonderful experiences at Fanari and look forward to so many more before our week end. As always, the week has flown by. Goodnight, for now, Fanari Camp.
